  9. The saved games from your Return to Zork Version 1.1 are invalid with
  10. the Return to Zork Updater Version 1.2.

  12. If you run this updater, you will lose all your saved games, and will
  13. have to start over from the beginning of the game.

  20. This updater for Return to Zork accomplishes the following:
  21.  
  22.     - Fixes many small bugs and inconsistencies in the gameplay
  23.     - Replaces several sound/music drivers
  24.     - Fixes audio popping when used with Sound Blaster, LSE, 
  25.       ProAudio Spectrum, etc.

  27. To update Return to Zork:
  28.  
  29.     1) If not done already, install Return to Zork as normal
  30.     2) Change to the Return to Zork subdirectory. For example:
  31.         CD \RTZ
  32.     3) Copy the updater to the Return to Zork subdirectory. For example:
  33.         COPY B:RTZ12.EXE C:
  34.     4) Run the updater program:
  35.         RTZ12
  36.     5) When prompted if OK TO OVERWRITE FILES, type Y for yes.
